I recently served as a Special Education Teacher for students with severe cognitive disabilities, a role that provided me with the invaluable opportunity to forge meaningful connections with both my students and their families. In this position, I focused on equipping students with essential skills for independence, ensuring they are well-prepared for life beyond school. With a total of six years in Special Education and three years in general education, I bring a well-rounded perspective to the field. I am now actively seeking a professional role outside the classroom where I can continue to support the special needs community and collaborate with educators in a more strategic capacity.
