As a seasoned professional in the elder care field, I specialize in wellness-based care, focusing on keeping adults active, connected, and independent in their own homes and within their communities for over a decade. My knowledge of social work, specifically grief, loss, and trauma, allows me to compassionately support clients and their families during stages of end-of-life care. In the summer of 2023, I made a significant decision to broaden my education by pursuing a master’s in Trauma-Informed Emergency Management with a concentration in Community Resilience. As a Women’s Fiction Writer, I specialize in creating immersive narratives that explore the lives and relationships of Black and Brown servicemen and servicewomen in the US Navy during the vibrant 1990s. My debut novel, Rock The Boat, is the first installment in the We Were The Puget Sound Series, focusing on the complexities of love and life in the Navy. My stories combine military authenticity, historical context, and sensual romance, providing a rich and diverse portrayal of Navy life that resonates with a wide audience.
