My name is Danielle Burrows and I am an Associate Producer at Fox 5 Atlanta. I am also a recent graduate of the University of Georgia with a dual degree in Journalism and International Affairs. During my time in Grady I worked as a Producer, Digital Producer, Multimedia Journalist and Anchor for Grady Newsource. Grady Newsource has provided me with a wealth of knowledge of the broadcast industry by allowing me to take on various roles. I am adept at working on strict daily deadlines, collaborating with, and leading a team in a high stress environment. Aside from working in the newsroom, I also maintained a part-time job as a student assistant in the PR Department of the Office of Instruction at the University of Georgia where I created videos, published promotional content, wrote, and published articles to over 30,000 students. I was also a member of DiGamma Kappa Journalism Honor Society, and have written, recorded, produced, and published original narrative podcasts and multimedia articles. In addition, I have a wealth of knowledge on international relations and affairs. I have drafted policy briefs on controversial global issues, contributed to cybersecurity seminar simulations and conducted in depth research on crises. I have a deep understanding of the world which helps to objectively shape my view on the world as well as the diverse set of people in it.I believe that my fearlessness to learn, ability to adapt to the constantly changing environment of the journalism industry and the ability to be a voice for those who don’t have one is what separates me from others.
