Customer service and sales associate for a high volume winery and gift shop. I would interact with customers on a daily basis to help them understand the wine tasting process. As part of my position I would resolve customer conflict by coming up with a solution that fit the situation at hand. I am proficient in 10 key and data entry. As well as working with a multi-line phone system. I have assisted in updating several social networking sites. As warranted I would help train the incoming seasonal fall staff. My other additional duties included pricing and inventory management. On a bi-weekly schedule I would help assist with our vendor meetings to help acquire new merchandise for our gift shop. On occasion I was responsible for placing orders with certain vendors and distributors. This would include new purchase orders as well as revisions to already existing orders.

I am responsible for creating and maintaining a database of point of sales material for all outside sales representatives.Part of my everyday responsibilities includes obtaining new manufacturer and customer information within our system. I am responsible for the planning of customer food shows, coordinating vendor support for the lines, entering in promotions and running the show to completion. As part of my duties I will travel to the distributors and vendors for sales meetings as well as the shows to ensure the success and final outcome of the presentations. On a weekly basis I set up conference calls between our manufacturers and our sales team. This allows our sales team to continue to be well informed on any upcoming activity within the lines we represent. Provide support to the sales team by completing all necessary paperwork for stores, chains and independents, as well as distributors and second tier distributors. I assist in training the incoming sales support on the paperwork needed to set up new vendors with the corresponding distributors. I work to help resolve price discrepancies within our system and work with all parties involved to find a resolution.

As part of my duties I handled counter sales and orders. I would prepare orders to customer specifications.I would maintain a clean work environment to ensure customer satisfaction and food safety. I was responsible for ensuring a well-stocked kitchen environment, which included food preparation. Part of my responsibilities entailed taking and placing large catering orders. As needed I would assist in meal planning for social events. I would resolve customer complaints to the satisfaction of the customer as well as the management. I have excellent communication with staff and customers. I am able to work well with a team or individually.On a weekly basis I would manage inventory and enter counts for the food cost. On a weekly basis I would place orders with our distributors to maintain our inventory volume.
