I am passionate about supporting the growth of the life sciences industry, especially in Seattle. My 10+ years of mass spectrometry research and 'omics data experience have taught me how to solve problems quickly and present solutions thoughtfully. My other experiences have allowed me to collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop excellent communication skills, and practice evaluating new technologies and their markets. My main hobbies are rock climbing and dance fitness. I climb indoors and outdoors, and I love going to Squamish to trad climb with friends. My favorite dance fitness format is Oula, which originated in Missoula, Montana. I have been an Oula participant for over 5 years and became a certified instructor in November 2022. Two of the mantras of Oula are “It’s not how it looks; it’s how it feels” and “Oula is for everyBODY," so we remind participants that everyone is welcome at the beginning of every class. I think this mindset has benefitted me in professional settings as well.
