I am in charge of receiving product orders, sewing all products ordered, quality checking all products, and packaging and shipping products ordered as quickly as possible. I also maintain the product inventory as well as the supply inventory to ensure proper supplies are on hand to fulfill orders, and I review any customer complaints to assess the origin of the error and implement strategies to improve accuracy and quality as needed. I also hire and train contract employees as needed.

As the owner/operator of a Thoroughbred horse farm, I hired, trained, and managed up to five employees with very diverse backgrounds and ethnicities. I maintained financial records, handled billing and accounts receivable and payable, ordered supplies and did all book keeping and record keeping for all animals in my care. I scheduled appointments with industry professionals, as well as communicated with clients about the status of their horses and resolved any conflicts which occurred while actively trying to grow my client list. I constantly educated myself on all industry standards and regulations regarding medication and training of race horses to ensure I was always in compliance. General farm duties such as scheduling maintenance and repairs for the farm and ensuring all animals in my care were receiving exceptional care were also part of my daily duties.

I was responsible for opening and closing the store, covering any shifts other employees did not show up for, scheduling, training new employees, tracking and ordering inventory, answering phones, providing customer service, and operating the cash register and other basic office equipment. I also set up new product displays and ensured the store was kept clean and products displayed in a neat and visually pleasing manner.
