Barista at C3 Coffee Co. I first started at this company as a volunteer with the Rock Church. Once I was hired I acquired various leadership skills. In December 2019, I was then given a shift lead position. This required more responsibilities like training new baristas, managing, opening and closing the store, and organizing events.

I first started as a barista with this company. This helped me develop more interpersonal skills with customers and co-workers. This position also helped me adjust to the fast-paced restaurant environment, giving me the ability to stay calm in stressful situations and to problem-solve on the spot. Eventually I became a baker and was given more experience within this business. I had only personal baking experience prior to excepting the job, but adjust quickly and learned more commercial baking. In this department I develop better communication skills, team-work abilities, and early morning responsibilities.
