Danielle Holmes is a Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Academy of the Holy Angels. She possess expertise in leadership, team building, public speaking, student leadership, event planning and 18 more skills. Colleagues describe her as "I had the absolute pleasure of working with Danielle Holmes for past two years at Academy of the Holy Angels. As our first Director of DEI, Danielle has worked tirelessly and collaboratively with our school community to promote diversity among our students, faculty and staff alike. It is very apparent that this is something she cares deeply about both professionally and personally. Danielle was responsible for providing training to the faculty and staff to raise consciousness about micro-aggressions and implicit bias against individuals who are different. As a result of these training sessions, I now have a greater understanding of issues impacting diversity and inclusiveness at Holy Angels, especially how people of diverse backgrounds experience our campus differently. Danielle also organized teacher-facilitated Dialogue Rooms for our girls to develop the skills to create a more inclusive environment, be it in their classrooms, clubs or activities. On a personal note, Danielle always made it a point to stop in my office periodically just to check in and see how things were going. She was always willing to lend an ear, give advice, or just talk about our lives.
