-Manage and lead the ambassador bird department including all aspects of husbandry, enrichment, and training. -Oversee the zoo's training program for all taxa and consult sessions as necessary. -Create and implement conservation focussed, live animal presentations that focus on exhibiting natural behavior to inspire conservation action. -Manage fundraising efforts for critically endangered avian species. -Manage and hire new staff and interns. -Manage, lead, and oversee the zoo's animal care internship program.-Serve as an administrator for the zoo's animal record keeping system (Animal Care Software).
