Concurrently, I'm working with the Cost Estimation Team for the MDOT SHA P3 I-495 & I-270. This MDOT project will enhance trip reliability by accommodating existing and future traffic growth by widening the highways to include two additional express lanes.

Statewide On-Call CEI, North Carolina Department of Transportation, Various, NC, United States: As Lead Inspector, prepared detailed daily project reports and effectively communicated with the Department of Transportation (DOT), contractors, and subcontractors to meet and support project goals. Also monitored the safety of all activities throughout the construction site, including work zone safety. Oversaw contract compliance, and obtained and maintained required documentation by use of SharePlus. Performed material testing on site, as well as maintained all materials received. Project activities included grading, drainage, milling, paving, pavement markings and markers, guardrail, incidental concrete, and signal work. The project includes new construction and maintenance projects on rural, urban, and interstate projects at various locations throughout the state for the State Resident Engineer. Specifically, worked on the New Hanover US-117/NC-132 College Road Signal, Drainage, Grading, Milling, Paving, New Hanover US-421 Carolina Beach Road Signal, Drainage and Resurfacing, and the Pender County I-40 Pavement Rehabilitation, Drainage and Guardrail. The total construction value is $100 million.
