In this role, I oversaw the day to day running of the administration department, the Dock and customer service department. I managed as many as 40 people in my team and as little as 10. In my position, I was preparing rosters, running stock takes, completing day to day finances, paying invoices, I am the head of the safety team in which I carried out safety inspections, followed through on reported hazards and incidents within the store. I am also the return to work coordinator for the store and since July 2009 the Area group. I have experience in preparing plans for any situations as well as executing them with my great organizational skills. I have, since the commencement of 2010, been assigned to relief positions within the area, including Store Manager of Burwood Dick smith, Store manager of Parramatta Tandy and Store Manager of Rhodes Dicksmith among others. I have attended and run several stock takes within the last 2 years. In November 2010, I was appointed to Store Manager of the Chullora Showroom, which is located at our national office. I ran the store efficiently, I pride myself in doing what it takes to hit the targets set by my area manager. I pride myself on my Customer service skills and have effectively trained my staff to deliver the same results, taking my Mystery shopper results from 60% when I took over to 82%. In June 2011 I completed a secondment as Regional SH&E Advisor looking after NSW, ACT and QLD. I currently manage the Wetherill park store since April 2012 and have made great headway with training , motivating and leading the staff to achieve success.
