What do Chick-fil-a, the Grand Hyatt DFW and GEICO have in common? Me.I had the pleasure of working at the most efficient single lane drive thru franchise in the nation. This taught me how simplicity drives efficiency. Chick-fil-a also taught me the value of exceptional customer service. I used these skills to impact other franchises I managed to include setting a record that took years after I left to break.The Grand Hyatt was also incredibly focused on customer experience. I had the privilege of being a trainer to continue the culture of wowing customers with simple conversations to connect. This is also where I learned the value simply acknowledging and greeting colleagues around you has as you move through a large building to foster a welcoming environment.At GEICO, I learned I love claims. There is never a dull moment as every claim is unique. The skills in efficiency, customer service and connection apply as each person speaking with a claims unit has encountered an unpleasant situation. Being able to take complicated insurance and reduce it to its essence enables my adjusters to help callers through these tough moments in life.
