I have been working in the childcare industry for 8 years. I had decided to take a step back and return to school to study Environment Technician at Mohawk college. I have currently completed my last semester and I am excited to see where this takes me.I am always eager to take on and learn new opportunities and responsibilities. You will find me to be an organized and self-motivated individual. I’m flexible when assigned different duties outside of my regular responsibilities. Demonstrate initiative to learn what is needed to excel in my position. I am a familiar and quick learner with all office technology, ArcGIS, and different databases. I can perform proper sampling techniques and practices, data analysis, and completing reports due to the hours spent in lab classes and completing 8 months at Region of Peel in the Lab Services and Wastewater Operations departments. During my many years of being in the workforce (both in my previous career and placements), I have learned to be able to multi-task, prioritize, and organize work activities effectively to meet tight deadlines. I also worked under minimal to no supervision and often had the responsibility to drive between different yards and/or pumping stations to deliver supplies or collect data. I have previously been a successful Registered Early Childhood Educator for 8 years. I am confident that I make a great attribute to this team.
