I received my BS in Criminology and Criminal Justice with minors in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, graduating Magna Cum Laude in December of 2015, and received my MA in Criminology from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in December of 2019. I completed my MS in Forensic Psychology at Nova Southeastern University in 2022. I am currently a PhD student at Nova Southeastern University in their Criminal Justice program. I am currently an RMS Applications Specialist for Motorola Solutions, helping to configure RMS for new customers and educate them on the product.

My duties include analyzing crime information to produce crime forecasting, crime maps, and resource deployment products for the Largo Police Department. I also provide a number of monthly, quarterly, and yearly statistical reports for the department to track crime trends. I am also tasked with researching and monitoring crime series and trends throughout the city. I also provide recommendations and advise the department of criminal activity patterns. I also assist the investigations division on cases, providing research on the crimes and alerting them to any crime trends or series. I communicate with analysts of surrounding agencies to stay on top of cross-jurisdictional crime trends and issues. I also create BOLOs for the police department to be disseminated to surrounding agencies and the regional fusion center. I use ArcGIS Online to create hotspot and crime trend maps; and I use Crystal Reports to run monthly reports on Homeless calls for service, as well as monthly Baker Acts. I create products for the Homeless Outreach Task Force, the mental health officer, Special Ops, etc. to assist them with identifying problem areas and high-utilizers. I use CA+ to assist with time and day analysis, and use Microsoft Publisher and Excel to create and maintain products for the department. I am a part of the department’s Homeless Outreach Task Force, as well as a part of the Performance Management team. I have begun to use Power BI to create products, and am in the process of learning SQL. I recently trained the Crime Analyst for Bradenton Police Department in CA+ and other analytical duties.

My duties include analyzing burglary and carjacking crime information to produce crime forecasting, crime maps, and resource deployment bulletins for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. I also prepare a variety of weekly, monthly, and annual statistical reports for the Department’s Commanders. I am tasked with researching and monitoring developing burglary and carjacking crime trends throughout the city. I also provide recommendations and advise the department of criminal activity patterns. I also coordinate with investigative units to resolve current and closed investigations by defining relationships with or to specific crimes or individuals. I use ArcGIS Pro to produce crime mapping and analysis on the city’s burglaries and carjackings. I also track carjackings in the city with IBM’s i2 Analyst Notebook. With the use of Genetec and Vintra, I analyze citywide cameras to help track the movements of criminals after a crime has been committed in an effort to learn their patterns so that investigators can track them down. I use Microsoft OneNote to compile and share data on crimes and crime patterns with the rest of the Crime Analysis Unit. I also use ESRI Portals to create and manage requested Missions Dashboards for robbery and violent crime. I use i2 to create link analysis charts for crime in the city at the request of other personnel.
