Teach guided reading to small groups of kids to remediate and challenge each student for enrichment. Update student performance trackers and use data to help guide my plans. Communicate consistently with families about student progress, and continue to build a strong rapport with Big and little KIPPsters by ensuring 100% of scholars/historians are on track to being college ready. Analyze MAP data results from reading to incorporate inside my classroom by giving non-fiction lexile appropriate books for scholars on their individual level. Design bulletin boards that are appropriate for the middle school sector, displaying scholar work on a bi-weekly rotation.
