I'm a writer. I write novels, I write screenplays, short stories, essays, articles, blogs, whatever. I love writing, writing's like breathing for me ... and it appears that I like using words like writer, write and writing an awful lot.I'm also passionate (most often positively engaged, at times also positively enraged) about nature, biodiversity, the climate crisis - and our pesky little species that keeps causing havoc left and right. For me, REWILDING is one of the big answers to fight the biodiversity and climate crises. I love what's happening around the globe, with more and more people acting not just to conserve, but to restore and to rewild nature for a healthy and sustainable future for all of us. A quick gander at my life before now: I spent a bit of time in the Swiss army; guarded the Pope's life in the Vatican; worked with gun and badge at UN HQ in New York; then joined the UN Field Service in the Middle East where there were guns and bullets and standoffs and kidnappings and late night escapes and wars ... plenty of material should I ever choose to write my memoirs. There's that and a great deal more. Sometimes I feel like I've lived several lives already - it's certainly been colorful so far, with gigs like truck driver and event manager and night guard and body guard and receptionist and community manager and and and ...
