Recommended by the team of Instructors to join as a Teaching Associate after showing strong understanding of the course topics during my time as a student. My duties include-Helping to teach course materials on topics including python core concepts, Machine Learning and Tensorflow.Providing students support and guidance inside and out of class.Fixing student’s software issues such as module installation and resolving GitHub repository problems.

This course focused on various Machine Learning techniques such as Linear regression, Classification and Clustering while placing us into business scenarios using real world data. By the end of the course we had covered advanced topics such as neural networks, ensemble models and working with time series data.Summative Project - Ames housing Dataset. We were given two weeks to create a linear regression model to predict housing prices in Ames Iowa. More can be found in my blogpost on this topic - bit.ly/AmesHousingData Capstone Project - Predicting charged off loans (6 weeks).Aim- To predict if a loan was going to default or be charged off from information available at the loans inception using Lending Club's 2014 loan data and information scraped off various other websites.Process- Processing the data, I used Natural language processing on the loanee’s job titles. After testing various classification models I was not satisfied with the results, so my next step was to create a stacked classification model combining the strengths of models I previously tested and then used an XG Boost model on the second layer. Results- The model was able to increase prediction accuracy significantly from an accuracy of 0.66 to 0.79 and with a precision of 0.91.

Facilitated stock movement between brands and branches contributing to a significant increase in sales from key brands.First point of call for high end makeup brands such as Dior and Guerlain with daily contact.Analysis and presentation of sales data used by key stakeholders both within and outside the company.

In this role I control stock flow from suppliers to stores on a global scale and additionally analyse sales information to action future business plans. For example, my analysis resulted in a business wide change in lingerie stock plans. Further, constraints on team size and high work load gave the opportunity to handle other department’s tasks, and therefore utilize my organizational and multitasking abilities to full effect.
