I am an expert in Healthcare Compliance with extensive Federal experience including simultaneous oversight of dozens of grants/programs ($100K-$100M) for performance and compliance to Legislative and Programmatic criteria. Environments that spark my interest include government health departments, health center/hospital networks, public or private health care entities (e.g. Joint Commission, ACA, NCCHC, HCCA, etc.), and Federal investigations and/or compliance (e.g. Veterans Administration).In my most recent position within the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC), I was responsible for a portfolio of 10-13 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in the Northwestern United States with over 60 service sites and funding medical care for over 77K patients. These FQHCs were situated within urban, rural, and frontier environments. Prior to joining BPHC I enjoyed similar responsibilities within the HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) with health care grants in New York, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida. Portfolio management techniques include the review of written reports, regular telephone meetings, operational site visits, and application review. Following operational site visits and application review, I provide written reports of findings to internal and external stakeholders, establish corrective action items and criteria, and ensure resolution of findings.
