Perform high complexity laboratory testing for the identification or quantitation of clinical patient samples, quality control materials and proficiency samples in CAP and CLIA-certified laboratory.Analyze samples using a variety of analytical instruments including: Sciex LCMS/MS with Analyst Software, Ultima LCMS/MS with MassLynx Software, and Agilent HPCL coupled with UV, DAD, and Fluorescent detectors with ChemStation software. Maintain, calibrate, and clean instrumentation; perform scheduled and as needed maintenance and critical function checks. Utilized tools to identify significant changes in instrument function, and worked with team for resolution, implementing best practice actions to resolve. Investigate abnormalities in test data and/or instrumentation with team to isolate root cause and seek corrective action.Extract a desired analyte from a variety of biological matrices using liquid-liquid, solid phase, and dilute and shoot extraction methods. Evaluate raw and final data; audited and corrected for errors; interpreted results producing a final report. Prepare chemicals as reagents to be used in testing.
