As Senior Technical Consultant, was responsible for providing technical guidance and analysis in the enhancement of a software application use for reporting on hospital surgical operating rooms. The application tracked operating costs, doctors performing surgeries and hours. The application utilized Microsoft technology and was a desktop application. Analyzed requirements for the development of a future web version of the application.

Responsible for providing analytical ability and creativity in developing and implementing solution deliverables for small to medium sized projects or major segments of larger projects in Learning & Knowledge group in the Global Business Services Division.• As both the Project Manager/Technical Lead, led a global cross-functional team in identifying and implementing a global content management system solution for storing education assets for 1000+ global education developers. The content management system solution:• Saved approximately $100,000 in storage cost annually by eliminating hundreds of smaller repositories scattered globally.• Reduced $500,000 annually in publishing costs associated with developing new courses by capitalizing on education asset reuse and reduced 25% duplication of learning content.• Increased sharing and collaboration of education assets across all projects globally.• As the Project Technical Lead, designed and implemented a global web base tool used by IBM Learning Consultants worldwide for finding the most recommended education courses for their specific area of practice by level and geography. The web base tool:• Utilized Web 2.0 technologies (AJAX) to incorporate fast data lookup through XPath for XML on the client side without the use of traditional server database lookups.• Saved approximately $60,000 in development costs with this innovative design but still met IBM’s strict Web Standards and Guidelines. • Received an IBM Bravo award which recognizes the individual or teams who exemplify innovation and integration in their performance for exceeding the client’s expectations.

As Senior Lead Application Developer, applied specialized IT and business knowledge to analyze, design, construct and implement solutions which addressed complex business and technical requirements using appropriate PwCC methodology.• Developed and implemented a solution utilizing Visual Basic and MSHTML Object Model to migrate PwCC’s methods (including data, content, deliverables, graphics, etc.) to IBM’s authoring environment during IBM’s acquisition of PwCC.• Performed business process analysis and prototype design for a new web-enabled project management tool application to support PwCC’s Management Consulting Services group.• Designed and developed a client delivery process to extract data from Lotus Notes Databases for providing a snapshot of all collected project data at the end of an ERP project implementation.
