I'm an accounting major at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. I will be graduating with my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in May 2025, and plan to remain at K-State and graduate with my Master's of Accountancy in May 2026. I am currently interning at Sink Gordon Accountants & Advisors, LLP in Manhattan.I have experience working in numerous areas public accounting, including, but not limited to, personal tax returns, business tax returns, trust tax returns, expense reporting, deductions reporting, payroll entry, and payroll tax preparation and payment. At Kansas State, I am currently working on my 15th credit hours of accounting classes, and have knowledge of accounting rules, methods, and principles (GAAP); the tax code and the basics of taxation; income statements and balance sheets; cash flows; valuation; financial statement analysis; and more.I chose accounting because I felt that it was a field where I could use my strengths to grow in the field and progress upward throughout my career. I am a natural leader, and I believe that you can lead regardless of your; my goal is to always push my coworkers, whether they are my superior or vice versa, to excel in their work. I don't just aim for good enough, I strive for the best, and I work to instill that in those around me as well.
