As a distributor of short films, I was responsible for overseeing the acquisition and sales areas of the agency. Among the projects I developed, I highlight the creation of a sales plan for the 2022-2023 period. In doing so, I took into account the historical record of transactions, scenarios of increased exhibition, potential clients, among other relevant variables. The primary goal of this plan was to increase the demand for short films in Latin America.During this process, I designed a master plan for clients and carried out an exhaustive preprocessing of the company's database. Additionally, I proposed a consumer profiling project for short films in Colombia to enhance our marketing strategies and campaigns. I optimized the design of internal reports for the company using Python, among other actions.This experience provided me with the freedom to explore various ideas and collaborate with an exceptional team of filmmakers and distributors.

The journey towards completing my thesis was challenging and prompted improvement in various aspects. On a personal level, I developed the patience, perseverance, and discipline necessary to face uncertainty when progress towards goals seemed stagnant. From an academic perspective, I strengthened my ability for autonomous learning in areas such as data mining, mathematical modeling, and algorithm programming. Additionally, I enhanced my knowledge to understand film distribution and its workings from an industry perspective.The research objectives of the thesis were as follows:- Design the current situation of cinematographic production in Colombia, identifying the different actors, resources, behavioral variables, and means used through a bibliographic review.- Design a model that enables the configuration of exploitation windows as a function of time, based on mathematical modeling.- Conduct an experiment using computational techniques (MATLAB) to observe the behavior of the performance measures in the system for the proposed scenarios.

As a Coordinator of the Film Market at the Bogoshorts Festival, I had the opportunity to collaborate with producers, directors, and companies involved in the production and distribution of Latin American movies (short films). My role involved planning networking sessions at all levels within the market, a component that proves to be essential for fostering business relationships and securing financing for new projects.
