After induction as Trainee Engineer in MTL, I was trained for key tools of vendor development i.e. production part approval processes / FPAs, FMEAs, quality management, effective business communication, selection of suppliers, auditing of suppliers and pricing of parts that has helped me a lot in vendor development and auto parts manufacturing.

During my Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering and with university recommendation I had a worthy opportunity of working in summer as Internee Engineer in Standardization Plant of NESTLE through which I developed the concept of FMCGs, their production system, quality assurance and industrial performance.Based on my experience of Piping & Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) during Internship in Descon Integrated Projects in summer 2013, I was assigned to upgrade P&IDs of the standardization plant.

I had a useful opportunity which involved in orientation of different technical departments including Engineering department, Engine & Tractor Assembly Plants, Industrial products department, Machining lines for Engine parts (Engine block & head, Sumps, Transmission Case & Centre Housing) and Quality Control & Assurance Department.This has helped me in understanding working of Automotive Engineering Company, witnessing assembling operations and machining operations and quality assurance principles which we learned during Bachelors. I submitted a report on learning observations and suggestions.

This internship has helped me achieve principles of design. I was placed in Piping Engineering Department through which I got useful practical experience of piping design, plot plan and detailed layouts, learning of equipment type and their specific applications, stress analysis of piping isometrics using CAESAR-11During this period, I have researched types of flanges and their installation and presented the staff engineers the power point presentation on it.
