Senior System Engineer
CurrentAs Infrastructure delivery and security expert in the Global Telecom organization I lead and responsible for new Telecom systems integration, providing security and hardening resolution.In this capacity my responsibilities include but not limited to:• Working experience with VMware infrastructure environment with ESXi hypervisor and vSphere virtualization platform, KVM hypervisor awareness.• Lead virtualization system delivering complex systems -deployment/setup into the customer VM environment end to end in the customer DC or remotely.• Hands-on and deployment experience the robust fully -virtualized NFV scaling/elastic capability system, multitenant and multiservice platform (VNF’s and EM) that automates wholesale services with DRBD utilization defined storage pools solution.• Conducting security technical assessments, such as vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, analysis and hardening resolution.• Managing asset and maintain Company Cloud infrastructure resources in Germany (INTREXION Frankfurt), Installing and configure a new HW: HPE/ IBM /DELL servers and storages, Juniper, Cisco network equipment , wiring.• Maintain upgrade of RPM's Packages and Patches configuration, version control, service pack. reviewing connectivity issue regarding security problem.• Solid Linux systems engineer/sys administrator experience• Collaborating with design engineering personnel to understand requirements, develop, and integrate SW solutions, such as operating systems, virtualization, security, etc. into production products Ability to learn fast new Open Source technologies, as well as working with other teams as a routine Result oriented, problem solver, accountable, independent, fast learner, analytical, focused with a great sense of managing the things that are most important
