Conceptual Design: Understanding the short and long term actions of timber to realise architectural concepts through structural analysis, developed programs and empirical design parameters.Detailed Design: Connection design, box beam and component fabrication, lamination including an in depth knowledge of Australian and European timber standards and industry technical data.Structural Analysis: Wind, live and dead loading on a variety of structures including portal frames, floor systems, beam and column, connection design using approximate methods and computer simulation to understand deflection, bending moments, shear and axial parameters.Quantity Surveying & Tendering: Utilising and developing work measurement programs to ensure consistent and accurate costing for projects at a tender stage.Project Management: Managing the design, modelling and analysis, requests for information, design changes, fabrication, freight and on site assistance processes within predetermined timelines and budgets.

Drafting: structural, construction, assembly and workshop drawings to document and the full process of structural concept to fabrication and finally site erection.3D Modelling: Using Cadwork software to interface between modelling, timber design, collaborating with architects, services, on site changes and eventual CNC fabrication.CNC Fabrication: Readying 3d models for CNC fabrication within the parameters of the machine including dovetail mortise and tenon, slotted connections, drillings and a variety of 3d geometry.

Carpentry & Timber Lamination: Hands on involvement in fabrication, warehouse management and assembly of components requiring lamination to adhere with structural requirements at a visual grade appearance.Warehouse Management: Supervising and organising the fabrication process to ensure minimal waste, maximum machine efficiency and a productive warehouse environment through programming, hands on involvement and planning.
