Contracted into KUKA Systems, then ABB Inc. Project Engineering, Design Concept, Check, finalize mechanical drawings.Worked on Robotic and custom machine assembly and machining systems, for various customers including: Ford, Chrysler, GM, Canadian Solar, American Axle Manufacturing.

Completed the updating of existing, and new equipment installation for Ford Motor Company, American Axle, and various other companies, using lean manufacturing. Expedited the concept, coordination of design / build / purchasing, and on-site installation supervision. * Implemented custom tooling, which allowed new products to be added to existing production, increasing part build rate and improving final part quality.> Received "Above & Beyond the Call" Award for work performed with team, from Chairman of Automation Power World 2009.

Responsible for prototype, design, check, release, and follow up of different types of conveyors, lift / rotates, walking beams, and parts washers, for various customers. Worked with AutoCAD and Inventor.* Played a key roll with team in design of GEMA Automation.(Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance, Dundee MI) > Resulted in second GEMA automation line awarded to HMM.

Responsible for machine and plant layout, ergonomic part handling, and automation of axle tubes and shafts. Worked with straightening machines, heat treatment and robotic loading applications. Updated existing, and specified new equipment, using lean manufacturing principles. Followed up projects with supervisory trips to Guanajuato, Mexico.

Developed process technologies for robotic systems. Involved in all phases of project from proposal to final delivery to customer. Worked on a team to implement many diverse projects. Conceived custom demos for various customers and industrial shows. * Designed and followed up build of prototype robotic grippers and fixtures for GM Northstar demo, to insert lifters and valves into cylinder head. > Due to highly successful team demo, FANUC Robotics, awarded cylinder head assembly, and additional automation for engine assembly.* Demonstrated ability to work with team in Air bag programs for Siemens and Takata. Knowledge of intrinsically safe mechanisms, conveyors, and fixtures.> Received Letter of recognition, with project team, from FANUC CEO and Program manager, for achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.* Developed innovative designs for tooling which worked effectively in harsh environments, such as foundry and oven ( 2000 degree F ) applications.

Mechanical Designer / Detailer Designed, detailed and checked "Special Machines" for major metal removal lines for engine components. Including work holding fixtures, transfer mechanisms, rotates, dial tables, broach, and lathe machines.
