I implemented full-stack solutions for user stories on an Agile development team and worked with modern web technologies including React and GraphQL. In this role, I served as a supervisor and mentor to Resident Assistants. This included helping lead training, having regular meetings with RAs, hosting office hours, and helping them troubleshoot problems that arise. I also managed a campus wide emergency phone line one night per week.This role also included the standard Resident Assistant responsibilities which are serving as a positive role model to residents and peers and creating an environment that promotes personal, educational, and social growth. I helped grow and develop a sense of community among residents as members of a residence hall. This was implemented through running hall programs, hosting hall meetings, and other duties.

Plymouth, Mn

I created a simulator to represent electric meters on an enterprise grade Java web application. This was designed and fully implemented using the SDLC Software Development Process. Part of this consisted of holding weekly meetings with key stakeholders. I also handled general bug fixes for the Java code and user interface on the same Java web application. All of this was performed through the use of agile processes including two-week sprints and a Jira ticket system.

This was implemented through staff meetings, running hall programs, hosting hall meetings, performing nightly rounds, and other duties.

I developed a mobile application for technology conferences using Estimote Proximity Beacons on a team with two other interns using Microsoft VS and Xamarin Platform for iOS and Android. We also created an MVC admin application for the conference app using ASP.Net.Git Hub of Project: https://github.com/thejoebaldwin/hbs-itagI also developed a Mobile Android App Designed to Wrap a School District Website with Xamarin and Google Firebase Messaging. The App added a nice interface and notifications to the functionality of the website.

I assisted in website development for Chrysler dealerships through the management of data uploads. This involved me creating and implemented an upload system for new incoming files and using bash commands on Mac to collect and upload data from remote servers.

Marlette, Mi

I collected field samples and tests of agricultural crops and surveyed crop fields for weeds, insects, and illnesses and reported findings. I worked independently and submitted field reports remotely.

Bad Axe, Mi

I prepared hardware and software of incoming computers and installed new computers into factory and office settings. I also collaborated with other interns to troubleshoot any technical problems placed on a Helpdesk.
