About Dan Sander
Since my military career, I've worked systems engineering and certification on a number of commercial and military aircraft programs. Notably, I was a part of designing and certifying the most complex and fault-tolerant fuel system ever designed on what will be the most capable multi-mission tanker ever built. I am a recognized expert in the still emerging field of military commercial derivative aircraft. I love my work because it translates directly to aviation safety through design engineering. My experience, however, is much broader and includes military operations, leadership positions, cybersecurity, and technical project management. I am a retired US Navy Commander and have led organizations deployed to wartime theaters with missions in RF spectrum management, Cryptology, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and cybersecurity. My other interests include applied research, electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOL), sustainable aviation fuel systems, data analytics, and space systems.
Listed skills include Military, Defense, Navy, Program Management, and 46 others.
