I am the partner in charge of McFarland’s Dallas office. I have dedicated my entire career to representing real-estate stakeholders. Before joining McFarland, I worked at a full-service law firm across a variety of practice areas, including eminent domain, commercial leasing, construction, commercial lending, and outdoor advertising. I worked with clients from dirt to disposition, through contract negotiation to courtroom advocacy. At McFarland, my recent successful results include the recovery of over $2,300,000 for a convenience store owner that received an initial offer of less than $300,000, securing a $1.5 million increase in compensation for a nationwide developer with property mid-development impacted by a utility easement, and nationwide representation of a Texas-based real estate investment trust.I have been selected by his peers for inclusion in Texas Super Lawyers and D Magazine Best Lawyers in Dallas for my expertise in the areas of Eminent Domain and Condemnation Law. I am an Affiliate Member of Owners' Counsel of America, the nation's preeminent association of eminent domain attorneys devoted to the representation of landowners, and am a member of the Urban Land Institute. I speak on condemnation and eminent domain law, having recently presented to the International Right of Way Association, North Texas Chapter on difficult compensation questions and teaching a continuing education webinar on Utility Easements and Rights of Way
