I practice exclusively in the area of eminent domain and condemnation law. I began my career at an international law firm representing governmental and public-use entities acquiring property and rights of way for large scale infrastructure projects. I now focuses on representing the interests of property owners facing these issues. My experience having been on the other side has proved invaluable in advising my landowner clients and positioning their claims for maximum recovery. Immersed in every aspect of the eminent domain process, I advise clients during all stages of the condemnation journey, from evaluating an initial offer to preparing for and navigating a jury trial. I have handled hundreds of cases involving the full spectrum of public use projects: from TXDOT road widenings to oil and gas pipeline takings and everything in between. My clients are as varied as the projects I’ve worked on, including Fortune 500 companies, real estate developers, special purpose entities, multi-site churches, and countless small business owners. I live in Katy with my wife, Allison, and our four kids. Outside of work, you’ll likely find me near a volleyball court supporting my volleyball coaching wife and my volleyball playing daughters.
