Hey there, my name is Daniel Versalov and I’m a graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Graphic Design with over 6 years of experience working with in-house design teams, design agencies, and freelancing with my company Dan V Design Co. Over those 5 years, I've adapted my skillset to include full service design, branding, social media, advertising, exhibition design, print design, and web development/design, to name a few.While working at Ruca and Marine Lane, design agencies based in New York City, I was able to pick up a fast paced design environment where I am constantly working on vastly different projects for a diverse set of clients. I've been fortunate to have worked on projects such as Serendipity, Mr. Petes Olive Oil, No Labels, and more focusing on creating design assets, websites, and updating the brand guidelines.I have also gotten to work at in-house design teams for Just Salad and HiOssen where I learned how to master a certain brand and replicate it across anything the company may need. At HiOssen, I was quick to learn the brand guidelines and create social media posts, magazine advertisements, brochures, product catalogs, exhibition materials, and more.With my own freelance work, this is where I like to have fun and express my design abilities. Over the years, I've worked with businesses that have nothing and need an identity or an existing brand that doesn't know how to update their business for the modern world. Additionally, this is where most of my web development work is done working on platforms such as Wordpress, Shopify, Webflow, and Squarespace.
