I am a Mechanical and Product Design Engineer with over 15 years of experience (including roles in project management and manufacturing engineering). Currently I am a Design Engineer at SWP Hydraulics Ltd. Specializing in the manufacture of linear and rotary hydraulic actuators for the Marine and Defence industries. Previously, I worked as a Specialist Applications Engineer at HQW Aerospace (formally Barden Corporation), managing the design and production of specialist ball bearings for clients like Rolls Royce and NASA. I hold a Product Design degree (BSc Hons) from Bournemouth University, where I also completed a placement year at Airflow Ltd., where I developed a magnetic filtration unit, which won the "Installers Mate of the Year" Corgi award (https://fernox.com/product/tf1-total-filter).
