This is where I began to appreciate the value of prior planning and preparation before being solo in front of the customer. The most valuable part of the experience was realizing the impact that a solution has on an end user - and end users/operators should be considered at all points of the product life cycle.

Something I learned from part of this experience that I still use nearly everyday: speaking to an audience with confidence. I also learned that training people with a wide range of skill sets and backgrounds on using the right technology, the right way, leads to happy customers.
