My job was serve at the front desk and to fill in wherever there was an unmet need in the church nursery and sunday school classes. This meant that I taught classes, assisted teachers, worked in the nursery, and ran the administration desk where I checked in new families and visitors. I maintained and organized records, input new member data into the database and helped set up classrooms.

My job was to educate, train, and empower families of children and youth with disabilities to advocate for their loved ones. I provided information and referral, networked with other service providers, designed educational power points, present workshops for parents and professionals, attended IEP meetings with families, and served on a variety of county advisory councils and boards.
