• Responsible for datacenter infrastructure build out which includes and not limited to building racks, installing rack mounts equipment, and cabling.• Responsible for pre-building servers to a provisional state for upcoming customers order, internal projects, capacity or other business needs.• Understanding provisional workflows and can effectively utilize the SLIKI or Internal resources to identify possible failures• Knowledgeable with Soft-Layer hardware, substitution rules and compatibility• Troubleshooting and resolving problems with basic network, Operating systems installations, and configurations in relation to Soft-Layer automated transactions. This is applied once operational resources are exhausted.• Responsible for escalating transactions to appropriate internal groups when Operations is unable to resolve.• Responsible for resolving distress inventory by performing the appropriate internal processes such as running hardware diagnostics. • Perform required walkthroughs per shift of the facility as mandated by compliance. Technicians will identify minor deficiencies to the appearance \ aesthetics of the site and escalate any facility issues to the Site Management.• Basic knowledge in Windows, Linux, or Unix Operating Systems
