• Simulated an unbalanced IEEE 34 bus distribution system in PSCAD • Carried out state space analysis for tuning voltage and current controllers of active rectifier of solid state transformer in PSCAD • Modeled photovoltaic module demonstrating I-V characteristics in PSCAD/FORTRAN• Connected photovoltaic module to maximum power point tracking controller and integrated them to AC grid in PSCAD• Developed islanded micro grid consisting of wind turbine module and energy storage module in PSCAD• Worked as a graduate research assistant for large scale system simulation group under 10 year NSF funded FREEDM project • Worked with students from other universities including Missouri S&T: ASU, NCSU, FSU and Missouri S&T• Integrated renewable sources to solid state transformer and connected them to IEEE 34 bus system as a part of 4th year energy management project• Developed reactive power settings in solid state transformer and provided platform to implement Volt VAr control in IEEE 34 as a part of 5th year project
