In 2016 SEOshop was acquired by Lightspeed POS. An end of an era, and the start of a new one. I was just promoted to Product Owner. As a Product Owner I've worked on several projects such as migrating to an entirely new back office, ran several design sprints, integrated and deprecated several payment integrations and worked tools to make it easier to design your own store.In 2019 Lightspeed went IPO, a huge success for everybody.

As growth remained there was quickly need for a 'frontline' and 'escalations' sub-department for the customer service team. As I enjoyed focussing on the more complex challenges our merchants were facing, me and some of the old team members established the 'Escalation Team'.

As SEOshop grew faster than we could ever dream of, so did my roll. It was time to establish an actual Customer Service Team which so far was done by everybody that had access to a phone. In this period I moved away from design and fully focussed on establishing a Customer Service Team for SEOshop.
