Daryl Wright is Senior Director of Economic Development at NRDC where he works with cities seeking to leverage climate action for community wealth building. He has spent over a decade working at the nexus of economic, racial and environmental justice. He is Managing Director at Proprentice Knight Consulting where he manages consulting services to government, private sector and philanthropic clients on climate and labor market issues. He is former Chief Program Officer at the Emerald Cities Collaborative where his focus included creating an advisory services unit, lauching economic inclusion programs, and facilitating strategic partnerships with organizations in the nonprofit and corporate sectors. Wright has extensive experience building and sustaining collaborations focused on successful outcomes as defined by client organizations. He has experience in youth development, community engagement, workforce and supplier development. He has worked with small and medium-sized businesses, community-based organizations, unions, and business associations to launch innovations and take them to scale.
