Acting in a consultancy role on a data warehouse project that BITs are implementing at one of the UK's top 4 retail banks, I reviewed, advised and guided on the gathering of information from the many disparate systems, both current and historic, within the bank so that a current and consistent picture can be drawn from the data, facilitating improved and more accurate management of the business operations.

Working with BITs, I was architect and developer of the task management solution (TMS) implemented at one of the UK's premier banks. Taking automated data feeds from various systems within the bank, together with manual entry from a user base in excess of 1100 users, it enabled the bank to better manage and oversee the customers journeys by monitoring productivity, user competencies and predict future pipeline blockages based on current and historic trends, enabling a improved customer service and a cost reduction of many £m

Data migration analyst on the migration of around 50 legacy applications into a SAAS Debt manager application. Activities included data modelling, data mapping, data quality and cleansing and ETL script creation.

Lead migration analyst and developer for MBNA's Oracle based PPI complaints system, moving the entire system from end of life Hardware and Oracle software onto SQL server. All data fully reconciled, data types converted, and new front end provided to allow the users to access he case history, financials and documents in a familiar format.

Lean analyst and developer on the migration of Black Horse's 3 end of life PPI systems. All 3 systems migrated to a new platform, fully reconciled, and new user applications developed to allow the users to continue to access the data in a format they are used to by emulating the original user screens. All case history, financials and documents viewable.

Lead developer and data consultant on the LBG PPI project. Taking feeds from the groups PPI complaint systems, this data is turned into intelligible and workable information to manage the PPI project. Additional feeds from the groups other historic complaint systems are also combined to give a group wide picture. Regular interaction with all level of stake holders, both internal and external (big 4 financial consultancies), and FCA investigations.

Working in MI development as part of the Customer Services data warehouse team in Halifax, developing on SQL Server 2005. Senior DWH developer on the corporate wide complaints handling system within HBOS/Lloyds and also mentoring on a SSRS conversion project for Lloyds in Gillingham.

A contract position, I was senior reports developer within the MOD section at Enterpise plc, whereby I wass responsible for the development and delivery of a MIS system, delivered in both Crystal reports and Microsoft Business Intelliegence suite 2005 (SSRS/SSIS/SSAS), and also the development of the departments datawarehouse. Also provided ad-hoc data extracts/updates for senior management, and VB software develpment
