I withdrew from my studies of becoming an obstetrician in pursuit a more fulfilling life. I began traveling and building out skills through jobs as opposed to schooling.I developed my business-building skills working for a small shop at FLETC Charleston, vending and pricing inventory. I was recognized for optimizing the buying and pricing of goods, increasing profits while remaining budget friendly for our customers. From this I developed team building skills as a manager at a commissions retail store. I then moved from retail where I found my true passion in cooking. I worked under Nordstrom's head chef as lead prep, pastry chef, and expo. I moved on to open a small cafe in Neptune Beach as the General Manager and Chef, leading a strong team of eight women.I continued forward, and opened a houseplant business where I sold plants at local markets while dabbling in web3 marketplaces. Once travel restrictions lifted in 2022, I opened one of the first travel agency businesses that accepted crypto as payment. In June of 2022 I joined the MetisDAO team as the Event Coordinator Assistant, and was promptly titled as PR Manager for Metis Layer 2 and Nuvo. I was soon promoted to Marketing and DevRel Project Manager.As of March 2023, I have been a core member of ZKM as their Marketing and Growth lead where I apply all of my past experience into growing a stable and well established company and community. I oversee all departments to ensure our vision and mission remains intact, strategize all departments, connect and coordinate with partners, design campaigns, coordinate events and keep integrity and spirits high within the team. I founded House of ZK, a community initiative through ZKM that took the world by storm after hosting just two events, and is now a targeted event among some of the top players in the industry. Along side this signature event, we launched the House of ZK Radio podcast in July 2024.
