Assigned to develop scenarios and hire appropriate resources and purchase necessary materials to preserve the assets - including all paper and tissue machines. For several of the 2015/ 2016 winter months ran the bark boiler for heating the majority of the facilty while owners were trying to negotiate sale of ongoing concern of operations. When negotiations failed we quickly switched to an alternative and cheaper means of heat protection - targeting key mill assets using large rental heaters until we were able to properly drain critical fluid lines - including fire protection and take other means necessary to preserve mill equipment and materials.Also responsible for supervising other temporary maintenance, operational and electrical engineering support, as well as, providing tours, technical information to prospective customers interested in purchasing equipment and materials.

Rotational on call duties, mill-wide operational and maintenance troubleshooting and occasionally filling in for the mill manager. Supervise fire system program and act as company liaison with our property and equipment insurance carrier. In this position until the mill closed down at the end of 2015. -

The plant has roughly 400 people employed and has a pulp mill, pulp dryer, two paper machines, three tissue machines with multiple boilers, two turbine generators, a waste treatment plant and a Recaust/ kiln operation. Accomplished the successful start up of the "cold" mill from previous companies bankruptcy. We completed our internal hiring, vendor/ contractor negotiations, insurance inspections, restocking stores, locating critical spares scattered throughout the country, finished the equivalent of an annual outage and started up the entire plant (all but one machine due to orders) - all within three weeks time.Assisted with the successful startup of our new No. 8 Tissue Machine in 2006. Responsible for removing several bottlenecks and redesigned several aspects of the machine and process to eliminate initial design flaws or construction/ installation misses.Led the setup, implementation and training of a new CMMS for all departments (mill-wide) to use electronic work orders that is now tied into our financial systems. Successfully managed several mill-wide annual maintenance outages (budgeting thru execution) – meeting tight schedules, budgets as well as environmental and safety goals. -
