I am a retired Police Officer with over 30 years service! Initially I started life in the police as a uniform patrol officer dealing with a broad spectrum of incidents from minor thefts to more serious offences such as Assaults, Burglary and Robbery! I then joined the Armed Response Team where I became very knowledgeable in tactics and the use of firearms! I was fortunate to work with a great team of officers where our ethos was to get the job done efficiently, effectively and in a way that members of the public felt safe and reassured by our presence! After leaving the Armed Response Team I transferred onto the Roads Policing Unit choosing now to enforce the legislation on the Highways and Bi-ways of the Uk! The underlying tone of my work ethic has always been to help get rid of the bad guys from the streets and driving a fast car enabled me to do this a lot quicker! I have been trained as a VIP driver and this has resulted in being able to drive for a number of high profile politicians and members of the Royal Family!Since becoming a Detective in the Intelligence world I have been able to broaden my horizons and go deeper into the dark world of Covert Policing! I now have a number of years experience in this field, and as a result my knowedge of RIPA, CPIA and the Human Rights Act have been developed immensely!I finished my police career working as a intelligence desk officer for Special Branch where I was able to research and develop intelligence in the world of extremism and terrorism. My main areas of expertise are Law Enforcement, Crime Investigation, Intelligence gathering & Dissemination, Anti and Counter Surveilance, Advanced Police Driver(Grade 1) , VIP driving, Cyber Crime Investigation and most recently the Counter Terrorism and Domestic Extremism world!
