I have been working on Openreach contracts and projects since 2006. My first role was business as usual circuit provision in telephone exchanges across the South Midlands. Later I managed a small team organising and delegating work for the bulk migration of local loop unbundling lines and was responsible for ensuring minimal downtime, quality and good test on completion. Subsequent to this I worked on managed installs of copper broadband circuits (FTTC) and self-install work, DSLAM fault repair and replacement/upgrade of line cards. I have now moved on to full fibre (FTTP) provisions in homes and businesses.I have acquired an extensive knowledge over the years beyond that needed for my role as I take an interest in the bigger picture and the industry in general. I am able to break problems down and find bespoke solutions and enjoy the challenge.
