Some highlights from my career at GE Power include:➤Tapped to serve as project manager for General Electric (GE) Power, directing a team of cross-functional professionals in the shutdown of the $25M manufacturing & repairs facility, delivering the project on time without any safety incidents. GE made the decision to close the facility as the company is exiting the coal industry which the Dallas site serviced.➤ Cultivating a robust safety culture and achieving over 1.4 million man-hours without injuries. I earned accolades from the US Department of Labor and recognition from the Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP), which gave our facility a Star Site rating, the organization’s highest honor.➤ Championing clear communication with clients to maintain excellent relations with customers.➤ Identifying opportunities for improving processes, including pre-machining shims within .001 increments for steam turbine diaphragms.
