Dave Hampton is a Lead Infrastructure Analyst at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of RI. He possess expertise in sdlc, program management, vendor management, business analysis, process improvement and 35 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "For the past year, I have had the distinct pleasure and honor to work with Dave on the BlueTransIT project at BCBSRI. Dave managed the environment component and I managed the security component of this project and we both worked for Technical Operations. As such, we spent many hours a day together in meetings and planning sessions and we got to know each other extremely well. Thankfully, Dave is an excellent person to work with, both as a professional and as a person. I think Dave's best skill is that as an experienced technologist, he could do most any job that I could think of. No matter the issue that was being discussed, he always had a good insight into the problem and was right there in trying to identify the best solution. While his years of experience working in varoius capacities at BCBSRI always helped, what was more important was the he never lost sight of the business requirement and what the end user needed. This skill is not that common in senior technologists and I believe that is one of the reasons why Dave and I worked so well together. Of equal, if not more, importance, is that Dave has oustanding inter-personal skills. He has a way of managing a problem and leading a discussion without being dogmatic or demanding as many intelligent people tend to do. He is very succesfull in acheiving consensus and in making people feel welcome. I look forward to the opportunity to work with Dave again."
