About Dave Leon
My work and life are dedicated to creating freedom for myself and others. I do this professionally as a psychotherapist and as a supervisor of social workers who work with some of the most challenging people in Los Angeles. I also run a nonprofit project that I created, The Painted Brain (www.paintedbrain.org), where I work daily to enhance the freedom of speech and quality of life for people living with serious mental illness. In my own life I appreciate the freedom of movement afforded to me by my bicycle, and play classical music to unwind.
