I have 30 years accounting experience in such industries as Aerospace, Telecommunications, Internet Connectivity and Planning, Banking and Financial and also Retail. I moved to become the accountant for the Caro Group and in 2007 I took over as the Group Finance Director, then taking over as Group Managing Director in 2022. The Caro Group are a linked group of Limited companies with a diverse range of products of services including Military, Aerospace, Railway and Commercial Castings, Drainage and Building Products and Flood Defence Solutions. My role as overall Group Managing Director includes Financial Strategy, Budgeting and Forecasting, Statutory Reporting, Health and Safety and Employment Law and responsibility for all staff in these areas.Responsible for Full Energy review and reduction program including cutting Climate Change Levy's imposed on the company, Intensive Industry Scheme claims, forward procurement, Heat and Power recovery and sustainable energy projects. Project leader for council liaisons including Manufacturing In Growth Claims, LoCase Carbon reduction Claims, Rates Reductions and appeals, Emergency Assistance Claims, Discretionary Grant scheme and Local restriction Grants.
