Working here, I've been involved in every part of the pipeline. From training, all the way to helping design prototype FX.I was involved in integrating our pipeline into a new facility wide database, whereby we had to migrate assets, register script inputs and outputs, etc.Aside from the backend implementations, I write a lot of artist facing tools, with a focus on usability. A lot of them are unique to Nuke, but I've also made interfaces to Maya and other command line tools. I've written multiple tools in Qt that run on Linux, and provide all manner of functionality.Another of my initiatives was redesigning how our departments documentation was organised and displayed, as well as writing a lot of new tutorials and documents. I initially worked as an FX artist, but there was a clear need for help in pipeline development, and automation. Anywhere that I saw artists were doing similar tasks repeatedly, or doing things that should be simpler, I would help make more efficient.I prided myself in finding the best and fastest way to achieve things, but without ever sacrificing quality.
