Day Job:Chief Instrumentation & Control Engineer currently leading the delivery of almost £1Bn of nuclear safety and protection systems for Hinkley point C power station.Have defined and led the Safety Case design strategy for the I&C as well as re-shaped the fundamental principles for Cyber Security assessment throughout the systems' lifecycle.In previous roles was Architect Engineer for major Class2/3 system refurbishments at both Sizewell B (WISCO-2 Project - £50M) and Dungeness B (£74M) leading on both design principles, test strategy and safety case including first-of-a-kind cyber security assessments, as well as securing regulatory approval for Commissioning and handover strategies during generation outage-critical installation periods.Evening/Weekend Job:I am director (and sole software developer, marketer, clinical interface and web-manager) of mindminder.uk, developing a home-based solution to aid independent living and data-led assessment strategies for Dementia patients. Recently recognised as part of the Ingenuity entrepreneur programme at Nottingham University and sponsored by Nuffield Health.
