An experienced IT executive who has spent over 25 years IT services industry and gained significant experience across all aspects of the IT and business spectrum.I have spent the last 10 years at a executive level operating at board level in a variety of roles within a number of large complex global organisations. I have been responsible for both the strategic and tactical aspects of IT balancing the immediate need versus the long term goal. I have direct operational and service delivery experience across multiple geographies, UK, EMEA and US with a very good understanding of the challenges both legal and cultural across these different regions. Financially I have had responsibility for multi-million dollar operational and investment budgets. I have been responsible for the successful delivery of major service, business and client transformational turnarounds. I have been responsible for new business pursuits ensuring that our "solutions" first and foremost meet the client requirements, that we had a unique selling proposition, that our costs were market competitive and finally that we had a service and solution that could be delivered within the financial and time dimensions of the bid. Previously I have had experience operating in a technology role as a CTO and successfully created a global UK and later global architecture capability, starting from nothing and at peak having over 500 architects operating globally, some 350 of them in the UK. In this role I was also responsible for the definition and deployment of a UK, EMEA and then global technology governance and standards process. I have an energetic and motivational leadership style where I prefer to lead from the front and motivate and inspire others to step up and achieve their full potential as both individuals and leaders themselves. I am always looking to find those who will become the next leaders of our future. I believe in open and honest communication across the organisation at all levels.
